Footnotes
The sickness absence statistics are produced in cooperation with the National Insurance Administration (RTV).
The sickness absence rate (sickness absence days in per cent of contractual working days) is here adjusted based on a vacation correction factor. Explained in more detail, the denominator (contractual working days) in the sickness absence rate is adjusted down based on information about people's vacation absence. Adjusting for vacation absence was abandoned in 2019. There will be discrepancies between the sickness absence rates that are corrected for vacation and those that are not.
