A variable is a property of a statistical unit. The page is divided into several boxes, one for each variable, where you can select values by click to highlight one or more values. It always starts with the statistics variable which is the main value counted in the table.

In 2017, the Regional Reform was adopted in the Norwegian parliament. From 1 January 2020, Norway went from having 18 to 11 counties. The growth rates from 2019 to 2020 in the new counties are calculated in relation to the sum of the old counties that were merged and due to the fact that some municipalities changed their county affiliation, there will be a break in the timeseries for the affected counties. In November 2022, the national accounts carried out a backward revision in the timeseries where a number of industries were affected. The county figures have been revised back to 2008 as a result of the backward revision. 2015. Discontinuity in service activities incidental to oil and gas. County 23 - The Continental Shelf is found in the list 'All counties'. Figures with a new list of truncated observations were released 2021.12.03. Figures for 2021 for disposable income of households and final household consumption expenditure were published on 28/11/2023 by mistake and have been withdrawn. Figures for 2021 will be published again after 6 December 2023. See list over changes in regional classifications (in Norwegian).
