Half-siblings are offsprings having only one parent in common. Step-siblings are offsprings having no parents in common, but one of their parents are living together as married or cohabiting couples. Persons living in the same private household as their parents are regarded as living at home. A person does not have to be considered a child in the houshold to be regarded as a sibling. |
