1  People with an equivalent after-tax income (three-year income) below 60 per cent of average median equivalent income for all persons (three-year income). EU scale.
2  The measure is based on an index constructed from answers to five questions. These are questions whether the respondent is very, somewhat, a little or not at all bothered by nervousness, hopelessness about the future, depression and anxiety. The answers from very to not at all are given values from 4 to 1 and the answers to the five questions are added. Persons with a sum of 10 or more are defined as persons with poor mental health.
