Foreign citizens have, if they meet the requirements for right to vote that apply to Norwegian citizens, the right to vote in municipal- and county council elections if they have been continuously residing in the country for the last three years prior to the election day, or is citizen in another Nordic country and registered as residing in Norway on 30 June.
