The statistics calendar shows the date on which new statistics are released. In addition, it shows if the release will be in the Weekly Bulletin of Statistics, in a press release and/or on the Internet. A new edition of the calendar will be published the last week of each month. The calendar this week contains all statistics available in the four first months of 1997.
It will now be easier to get an overview of when statistics will be released. Statistics Norway has made a statistics calendar which shows where and when all new statistics are available. The first edition is attached to this issue of the Weekly Bulletin of Statistics. The calendar will be put on the Internet on 19 December.
More extensive calendar on the Internet
The calendar is currently available on the Internet. The Internet version contains the names of Statistics Norway employees who can be contacted for more information about the individual statistics. In January, an English version of the calendar will be put on the Net, along with a calendar in which statistics are organized by subject.
The calendar does not provide an overview of the release date of new publications. A publications calendar will be prepared later.
