Building cost index, homes, May 1997:
Wage settlement boosts electricians' index
The collective bargaining settlement obtained by electricians in Norway
caused the sub-index for electrician work to increase by 1.5 per cent for
apartments and by 1.2 per cent for single family homes and row houses in May
1997. On the other hand, material costs in the index fell by 0.2 per
cent.
