Quarterly central government accounts including social security and annual fiscal budget figures will be published in the new Internet edition of the Monthly Bulletin of Statistics. Quarterly figures for the central government accounts will be published shortly after the accounts are closed.
The accounts for the second and third quarters will be released about two months after the end of the quarter, while the accounts for the first and fourth quarter will be released somewhat later. Furthermore, three different versions of the budget will be published in the course of the year: the Government's budget proposal for the coming year in October, the Storting's approved budget in around January of the fiscal year and the final budget including additional appropriations in around December of the fiscal year.
The tables will not be based on the financial statistics' ordinary classification (which in turn is based on national account definitions), but on the state budget's and accounts' own classifications. One table shows income and expenditure by main items. Also given are figures for net lending etc., repayment of state debt and financing needs. Another table shows expenditure by program area.
