From 2013, all investigations are reported to Statistics Norway. Previously, only one investigation per child was reported and then either the first one or the one that led to measures, where applicable. The number of investigations is therefore not comparable between 2012 and 2013. However, the number of children with investigations started in 2013 can be compared to investigations started in 2012 and previously.
