The proficiency levels are groupings of the score points. The score point limits for each proficiency level are given in “About the statistics”. Pupils in the 5^th grade have three proficiency levels, while the 8^th and 9^th grade pupils have five proficiency levels – where 1 is the lowest and 3 and 5 are the highest.
