OECD has decided to focus on people aged 50-59 by using Survey of Health, Ageing, and Retirement in Europe (SHARE). Norway, among many other countries, has not participated in SHARE. The countries included are Estonia, Spain, Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Belgium, France, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland and Sweden. As Norway is not included, we have used the European Health Interview Survey Wave 2 (EHIS2) to make comparisons between Norway and the aforementioned countries. SHARE’s respondents are aged 50-104, while EHIS interviews people aged 16 and over without an upper limit. If not commented further upon, factors of interest are measured similarly.
