The proportion of men and women is the basis for the calculation of (most of the) scores. For each indicator a score is calculated for each municipality, each county and for the entire country (read more about calculations in "About the statistics"). The score should say something about the relationship between the proportion of men and women, and can range from 0 to 1. 0 indicates the maximum inequality between the sexes, and 1 indicating complete equality.
