Public sector consists of municipalities and county municipalities and central government. This includes besides the general administration, tasks conferred on the public sector. Examples of this would be schools and care and management of hospitals. Public enterprises such as municipal enterprises, NSB, Lånekassen, Norges Bank and Norway Post, are not included as part of the administration. Refinements are made based on the code of the institutional sector.
