Employment is the sum of owners and employees. Compared to the register-based Employment Statistics, where a person is only counted in the principal job where they are employed, the structural statistics allow persons with more than one job to be counted as an employee in more than one industry at the same time. The statistics on employment will therefore not be directly comparable.
