The price levels in this article are related to the national accounts concept of Household Final Consumption Expenditure (HFCE), which is the market value of all goods and services, including durable products (such as cars, washing machines, and home computers), purchased by households. It excludes purchases of dwellings but includes imputed rent for owner-occupied dwellings. Exceptions are goods and services consumed by private households but provided by the government, like education and health services.
