The waste regulation (chapters 11 and 16) imposes a requirement on businesses to send their hazardous and radioactive waste for treatment, and to provide sufficient information about the waste upon delivery/sending (see sections 11-12 and 16-9). A declaration form issued by the Norwegian Environment Agency and the Norwegian Radiation Protection Authority must then be filled out.
