Break in the number of people registered as unemployed
In November 2018 the Labour and Welfare Administration (NAV) implemented a new solution for registration of job seekers, which allows job seekers to enter the register and the statistics to NAV faster. The method Statistics Norway use to seasonally adjusts figures from NAV is the same as earlier.
For more information about NAV's handling of the break, see https://www.nav.no/.
1 These figures are monthly and not three-month moving average. . They are not corrected for the break in 2018, and NAV figures is therefore not comparable before and after the break.
