Average monthly earnings up NOK 1 100
Full-time employees in administrative and support service activities had average monthly earnings of NOK 36 800 as per 1 September 2014, excluding overtime pay. This was a year-on-year increase of NOK 1 100 or 3.1 per cent.

This section in the standard industrial classification includes a wide range of activities, and average monthly earnings vary accordingly. The highest earnings are found in business support activities, at NOK 44 900, while the lowest are found in cleaning activities, at NOK 31 900.

The statistics are based on information from a sample of enterprises covering a total of 41 362 full-time employees and 26 843 part-time employees. According to the Norwegian Central Register of Enterprises and Establishments as per September, administrative and support service activities comprise in total 132 700 employees.

Structural changes within the division along with the outcome of collective bargaining would have a certain effect on the wage increase being measured.
