Monthly earnings up NOK 1 400
Full-time employees in administrative and support service activities had average monthly earnings of NOK 35 700 as of 1 September 2013. This was a year-on-year increase of NOK 1 400, or 4.1 per cent.

Administrative and support service activities is a section of the international industrial classification that is made up of various divisions and occupational groups, and average monthly earnings vary accordingly.
Earnings in employment activities up 4.3 per cent
Full-time employees in employment activities had an increase in monthly earnings of 4.3 per cent. Secretaries and other clerks’ monthly earnings increased by 3.1 per cent. Craft and related trade workers had a year-on-year increase of NOK 1 100, or 3.7 per cent.
7.1 per cent increase in security and investigation activities
Security and investigation activities, which includes security guards, had a year-on-year increase in monthly earnings of NOK 2 300, or 7.1 per cent. Earnings for security guards and other service workers increased by 6.8 per cent. Senior officials and managers’ monthly earnings increased by 9.9 per cent.
4.4 per cent increase in cleaning activities
Full-time employees in cleaning activities had an increase in monthly earnings of 5.3 per cent. Cleaners and other elementary occupations had a year-on-year increase in monthly earnings of 4.4 per cent.
Up 2.2 per cent in travel agencies
Full-time employees in travel agencies had an increase in monthly earnings of 2.2 per cent. Most associate professionals working in travel agencies are travel consultants. This group had an increase in monthly earnings of 3.9 per cent.

The statistics are based on information from a sample of enterprises which cover a total of 39 083 full-time employees and 28 175 part-time employees. The total number of employed persons that are the basis for weighting is 130 600 in administrative and support service activities, according to the Norwegian Central Register of Enterprises and Establishments.

Additional information
Structural changes within the division along with the outcome of collective bargaining would have a certain effect on the wage increase being measured.
