Average monthly earnings up NOK 2 400

Full-time employees in real estate activities had average monthly earnings of NOK 50 500 as per 1 September 2013, excluding overtime pay. This is a year-on-year increase of NOK 2 400 or five per cent.

Full-time employed women had an average basic salary of NOK 46 200, which is a year-on-year increase of NOK 3 300 or 7.7 per cent, while full-time employed men had an average basic salary of NOK 52 600, a year-on-year increase of NOK 1 800 or 3.5 per cent.

The statistics are based on information from a sample of enterprises, which cover a total of 6 539 full-time employees and 615 part-time employees. The total number employed, which is used as the basis for weighting, is 23 500 in real estate activities, according to the Norwegian Central Register of Enterprises and Establishments.
