Monthly earnings up NOK 1 200
Full-time employees in private health and social work activities had monthly earnings, excluding overtime pay, of NOK 36 300 as per 1 October 2013. This was a year-on-year increase of NOK 1 200 or 3.4 per cent.

Monthly earnings for full-time employees in health activities were NOK 42 800 as per 1 October 2013, which corresponds to a year-on-year increase of 4.1 per cent. Full-time employees in social work activities had average monthly earnings of NOK 33 200. This corresponds to a year-on-year growth of 2.8 per cent.

The statistics are based on information from a sample of enterprises covering a total of 36 983 full-time employees and 28 897 part-time employees. The total number of employees that forms the basis for weighting is 102 100 in private health and social work activities, according to the Norwegian Central Register of Enterprises and Establishments.

Additional information
Structural changes within the division along with the outcome of collective bargaining would have a certain effect on the wage increase being measured.
