All employees

About 60 per cent of all employees in municipalities and county municipalities are working part-time.

This makes it possible to compare wages and wage growth for all employees.

About 75 per cent of all employees in municipalities are females. Females had average monthly earnings of NOK 23 900, an increase of 5 per cent from 2003, whereas male employees had monthly earnings of NOK 26 100, a growth of 5.3 per in the same period.
