Monthly earnings up NOK 1 600
Full-time employees in water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities had average monthly earnings of NOK 37 300 in October 2012. This was a year-on-year increase of NOK 1 600, or 4.5 per cent.

The occupational group with most employees is drivers and operators, such as operators in water treatment plants, and semi-skilled workers at waste dumps. For this group we find growth in average earnings of 2.2 per cent, up to NOK 32 600 per month.
Another large occupational group in this industry is craft workers, which consists of mainly skilled workers. This group had a wage increase of 4.9 per cent, from NOK 32 600 per month to NOK 34 100.

Additional information
Structural changes within the division along with the outcome of collective bargaining would have a certain effect on the wage increase being measured.
