The order reserves in building projects and in civil engineering projects increased both by 3 per cent compared to the 1st quarter of 2017, according to new figures from the statistics Construction, new orders. Compared to the 2nd quarter of 2016 the stock of orders increased by 14 per cent measured in current value.
For several districts, small decreases in stocks of order were noticed compared to the 1st quarter of 2017. A considerable exception is Hedmark- Oppland, where building the road along Lake Mjøsa has resulted in high civil engineering reserves.
After a strong increase in the beginning of the year, the inflow in building and construction saw a small decrease. The annual change however was 4 per cent higher for inflow in building and construction industry. Building projects contributed with 2 per cent growth while civil engineering projects grew by 13 per compared to previous year.
