9.1 per cent growth in construction industry

The turnover in the construction industry increased by NOK 4.4 billion, or 9.1 per cent, in the period January - April 2005 compared with the same period in 2004.

The total construction turnover for the first four months of 2005 was NOK 52.7 billion. The group "site preparation" had the strongest growth in turnover, up 13.6 per cent compared with the corresponding period last year.

All figures are exclusive of VAT.
