15.7 per cent growth in construction

The turnover in the construction industry increased by NOK billion 8.4, or 15.7 per cent, in the period January - April 2006 compared with the same period in 2005.

The total construction turnover for the first four months of 2006 was NOK 61.8 billion. The group "renting of construction or demolition equipment with operator" had the strongest growth in turnover, up 26.9 per cent compared with the corresponding period last year.
