Turnover growth in construction

Turnover in the construction industry increased by NOK 12.2 billion or 13.8 per cent in the first six months of 2006 compared with the same period in 2005.

The total construction turnover for the first six months of 2006 was NOK 100 billion. The group “renting of construction or demolition equipment with operator” experienced the strongest increase in turnover. The turnover in this group was 27.4 per cent higher the first half of 2006 compared with the same period in 2005.
