Moderate turnover growth in construction

Turnover in the construction industry was NOK 54.0 billion in September and October 2010; an increase of 3.8 per cent compared with the same period last year.

The turnover in the construction industry shows a moderate growth over the last six months after a decline in the first four months of 2010. The total construction turnover for the first 10 months of 2010 decreased by 0.4 per cent compared with the same period last year. The largest fall in turnover occurred in civil engineering works (Division 42), down 2.9 per cent compared with the first eight months of 2009.
