High turnover growth in construction

The turnover in the construction industry increased by NOK 43.7 billion, or 18.8 per cent, in 2007. Total construction turnover amounted to almost NOK 277 billion.

All main industrial groupings experienced an increase in turnover from 2006 to 2007. In total, 60.4 per cent of the turnover in the construction industry was generated in the industrial group ‘building of complete constructions or parts thereof; civil engineering’. The turnover in this group amounted to NOK 167 billion, up 18.9 per cent from 2006.
