Turnover decline in construction

Turnover in the construction industry went down by 12.1 per cent in the 2nd period (March and April) of 2009 compared with the 2nd period of 2008.

The total construction turnover for the 2nd period of 2009 was NOK 42.9 billion; a decline of NOK 5.9 billion compared with the corresponding period of 2008.

The total construction turnover for the first four months of 2009 was NOK 81.7 billion - an increase of NOK 10.1 billion or 11.0 per cent compared to the year before.

All turnover in this connection excludes VAT.
