Turnover decline in construction

Turnover in the construction industry went down by nearly NOK 23 billion, or 12 per cent in the period January-August 2009 compared with the corresponding period in 2008. The total construction turnover for the first eight months of 2009 was nearly NOK 169 billion.

For the fourth period (July and August) this year, the total turnover in the construction industry went down by NOK 4.9 billion, or 11 per cent, compared with the same period last year.
