Turnover down by 10.6 per cent

Turnover within construction for 2009 was NOK 275 billion; a decline of NOK 32.7 billion or 10.6 per cent compared to the year before.

All industry classes within construction experienced a decline in turnover from 2008 to 2009. The largest decline was 14.8 per cent within construction of buildings, decreasing to a total turnover of NOK 106 billion. The turnover within specialised construction activities was NOK 34 billion in 2009; a decrease of 7.7 per cent.

The total turnover within construction for the 6th period (November and December) 2009 was NOK 55 billion; a decrease of 5.0 per cent compared to the same period in 2008.
