Growth in construction turnover

The turnover in the construction industry was NOK 54 billion in the 1st period of 2015. This corresponds to a growth of NOK 2.2 billion or 4.3 per cent compared to the same period in 2014.

The total turnover in construction of buildings was NOK 22.1 billion in the 1st period of 2015 and corresponds to an increase of NOK 1.1 billion, or 5.1 per cent, compared to the 1st period of 2014.

There was an increase of 9.6 per cent within civil engineering from the 1st period of 2014 to the 1st period of 2015. The turnover was NOK 6.5 billion and increased by just under NOK 570 billion compared to the same period in 2014.

In the division “Specialised construction activities”, there was an increase of 2.2 per cent in the 1st period of 2015 compared to the same period in the year before. The turnover was more then NOK 25 billion and increased by almost NOK 550 billion. In the same period, the turnover in the subclass “Electrical installation” went from NOK 5.9 to 5.8 billion. This represents a decline of 1.9 per cent.
