Construction turnover of NOK 71.6 billion
The turnover in the construction industry was NOK 71.6 billion in the 3rd period of 2015. This corresponds to a growth of 5.2 per cent compared to the same period in 2014.

The total turnover in construction of buildings was NOK 28.4 billion in the 3rd period of 2015 and corresponds to an increase of 5.2 per cent compared to the 3rd period of 2014. During the first six moths of 2015 the local kind-of-activity units in construction of buildings had a growth of 5.4 per cent and a total turnover of NOK 76.0 billion.
There was an increase of 11.4 per cent within civil engineering in the 3rd period of 2015 compared with the same period in 2014. During the first three periods of 2015 the same local kind-of-activity units had a growth of 10.0 per cent compared with the same periods in 2014. The main reason for the growth is increased activity within “Construction of railways and underground railways”. These local kind-of-activity units had an increase of 20.1 per cent during the same period.
In the division specialised construction activities, there was an increase of 3.6 per cent in the 3rd period of 2015 compared to the same period in the year before. The turnover was NOK 34.0 billion.
The highest growth in turnover was found in Akershus with a growth of 19.1 per cent compared with the 3rd period of 2014. The local kind-of-activity units in Rogaland had a decrease in turnover of 3.4 per cent.
