Stable inflow of new building orders
The inflow of new building orders is still stable on a high level. The value of company reserves of building projects is 14 per cent higher at the beginning of 2002, than at the beginning of 2001.
Orders for new residential buildings were at the same high level during 2001 as the year before. And company reserves of new housing projects are at about the same level at the beginning of 2002 as at the beginning of the previous year.
High level of commercial building orders
After a considerable growth in the number of new commercial building orders during the three first quarters last year, the trend turned down in the 4t h quarter of 2001. The value of company reserves of commercial buildings is 22 per cent higher at the end of 2001 than at end of the previous year.
More new civil engineering works
The inflow of new civil engineering orders is still increasing in the 4t h quarter of 2001compared with the same quarter the year before. The value of reserves is 26 per cent higher at the beginning of 2002, than at the same time the year before.
The value of company reserves for the entire construction industry rose by 16 per cent from the beginning of 2001 to the beginning of 2002.
