Construction, new orders (discontinued), Q3 2003

The value of company reserves for new commercial buildings fell 6 per cent over the course of 3^{r d} quarter and was, at the end of the quarter, 13 per cent lower than at the same time the previous year.

There was a growth in new renovation orders in the commercial building sector, in the 3^{r d} quarter this year. The value of renovation reserves was 14 per cent higher at the end of the 3^{r d} quarter compared with the same period the previous year.

Stable inflow of housing projects

Over the course of the first nine months this year, company reserves of housing projects are stable but on a lower level than the year before. The value of unfilled housing orders, including renovation projects, is 16 per cent lower than at the same time the year before.

The value of company reserves for the entire construction industry fell 3 per cent over the course of 3^{r d} quarter 2003.
