Increase in construction company reserves
The inflow of new construction projects increased in all sectors over the course of 2005. The value of company reserves was 25 per cent higher at the end of 2005 than at the end of 2004.
The growth in new residential projects continues. The value of company reserves of new residential buildings rose by 8 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2005, and the value was 29 per cent higher at the end of 2005 compared with the end of 2004.
There was also a considerable growth in the value of company reserves of other buildings last year. The value of reserves was 28 per cent higher at the end of 2005 than at the end of 2004.
The company reserves of renovation orders increased in 2005. At the end of 2005 the contractor reserves of renovation of residential and commercial buildings were 16 and 18 per cent higher than at the end of 2004 respectively.
The inflow of new orders for civil engineering works rose over the course of the last three quarters of 2005. Compared with the end of 2004 the value of company reserves increased by 20 per cent.
