No change in construction reserves
The value of company reserves remained unchanged over the course of the 2nd quarter of 2009. The inflow of new orders showed a small increase in the 2nd quarter this year.
Stable reserves
The order reserves of building and civil engineering works are unchanged compared to the last quarter. For new residential buildings there was a 5 per cent decrease in order reserves during the last quarter, while for renovation projects there was a 5 per cent increase. Compared to the same quarter in 2008, there has been a decrease of 38 per cent in reserves for new buildings, and an increase of 15 per cent within renovation. For non-residential buildings there has been a small decrease in reserves since the last quarter, and a decrease of 27 per cent compared to the second quarter of 2008. For civil engineering works, order reserves have increased by 5 per cent the last quarter.
Increase in the inflow of new orders
The inflow of new orders for dwelling projects increased by 9 per cent from the first to the second quarter of 2009, while the inflow decreased by 8 per cent compared to the same quarter last year. The inflow of orders for non-residential buildings increased by 6 per cent during the last quarter, but fell by 27 per cent compared to the same quarter in 2008. The latter can be explained by a decrease in the inflow of orders for new buildings.
