20 per cent more building starts
3.9 billion square meters of buildings were started during the first seven months of 2004. This is an increase of 20 per cent compared with the same period last year.
In this period 15 611 dwellings were started - 3 639 or about 30 per cent more than last year.
In July 2004 the total square metres of utility floor space starts rose by 38 per cent compared with the same month last year.
