Continued increase in new dwellings
2 916 dwellings starts are registered in Norway in November 2004, an increase of 50 per cent compared with November 2003.
27 309 new dwellings are started in the period from January to November 2004, an increase of 32.6 per cent from the same period in 2003.
Building of a total area of 6.8 million square metre utility floor space was started in the period from January to November 2004. 3.2 million of the square metres are started for the purpose of dwellings and 3.6 million square-metres are started for other purpose than dwellings, an increase of 20.1 and 6.7 per cent respectively.
