Three-month change: prominent rise in refined petroleum, chemicals and pharmaceuticals industries
The 4.2 per cent increase in the first quarter of 2017 was mainly due to a strong growth in the turnover for grouping refined petroleum, chemicals and pharmaceutical products, which rose 40 per cent. A notable increase in prices of refined petroleum products in the same period contributed to the increase in the turnover for this grouping. Moreover, basic metals and repair, installation of machinery helped to pull up the total turnover.
