Three-month change: increased turnover in most of the industries
Seasonally-adjusted figures showed that the turnover in Norwegian manufacturing increased by 1.7 per cent from March to May 2018 compared with the previous three-month period. This was due to the development in the domestic market.
The biggest contribution to the positive development came from food products.
On the other hand, the industry grouping refined petroleum, chemicals and pharmaceutical products and repair, installation of machinery had the greatest impact on curbing the positive development in total turnover.
