Published:
Seasonally-adjusted figures show that the total turnover in Norwegian manufacturing continued the positive development and icreased by 4.0 per cent in the period December 2020 to February 2021 compared with the previous three-month period. On a monthly basis, from January to February 2021 the manufacturing turnover increased by 2.8 per cent.
The index value for turnover in manufacturing was 160.9 (2005=100) in the period December 2020 to February 2021 compared to 154.7 in the previous three-month period, seasonally-adjusted figures. After a period of growth through the second half of 2020 and into 2021, the manufacturing turnover has made up for the sharp fall that occurred when the corona pandemic occurred in the first half of 2020 and is not at a higher level.
