Three-month change: rise within machinery and equipment
Seasonally-adjusted figures showed that the turnover in Norwegian manufacturing increased by 1.0 per cent in the period December 2017 to February 2018 compared with the previous three-month period. Much of the increase in turnover stems from machinery and equipment. The industry grouping refined petroleum, chemicals and pharmaceutical products also contributed to this development.
On the other hand, computer and electrical equipment had the greatest impact on curbing the positive development in total turnover.
