Electricity prices are still high
The average price of electric energy for households was 28 øre/kWh in the second quarter this year, taxes and grid rent excluded. This is 55.2 per cent lower than the previous quarter, but as much as 74.4 per cent higher than the second quarter of 2002.
For services the price of electricity was 25.6 øre/kWh in the second quarter this year, taxes and grid rent excluded. This is 68.5 per cent higher than one year ago. For manufacturing, exclusive of energy-intensive manufacturing and pulp and paper industry, the average electricity price was 23 øre/kWh. This is 28.8 per cent higher than in the second quarter last year.
