Including taxes and grid rent the total price was 75.7 øre/kWh. Taxes amounted to 30.8 per cent of this total price, electric energy 36.3 per cent and grid rent 32.9 per cent.

The average price of electric energy for the service industry was 25.3 øre/kWh in the third quarter, excluding taxes and grid rent. This is 1.7 per cent lower than in the second quarter this year and 1.7 per cent higher than in the third quarter of 2004.

For the manufacturing industry except energy-intensive manufacturing and the pulp and paper industry, the price of electricity was 22.3 øre/kWh in the third quarter. For energy-intensive manufacturing and the pulp and paper industry the average price of electric energy was 12.3 øre/kWh excluding taxes and grid rent.

The measuring period for the third quarter 2005 was week number 32 (8 August - 14 August).
