569 billion in tax
People and companies were assessed for a total of NOK 569 billion in tax for the income year 2007, an increase of NOK 12 billion compared to the year before.

Assessed taxes for companies amounted to NOK 261 billion in 2007, a reduction of NOK 20 billion from 2006. Assessed taxes from personal taxpayers increased by NOK 32 billion, and amounted to NOK 308 billion in 2007.
Total tax deductions increased from 19 billion in 2006 to 22 billion in 2007.
About the statistical basis
The statistics is based on the ordinary tax assessment for people and companies from the tax register of the Directorate of Taxes.
