Increased vegetable production
The total production of field grown vegetables in 2013 was 143 600 tonnes, while greenhouse vegetables came to 30 000 tonnes.

The total production of fruit in 2013 is estimated at 12 000 tonnes. Apples represented 9 600 tonnes of the total fruit production, plums 1 500 tonnes and pears 200 tonnes. Cherries and sweet cherries made up 700 tonnes of the fruit production.
The total production of garden berries is estimated at 8 700 tonnes, of which strawberries amounted to 6 200 tonnes and raspberries 2 000 tonnes.
