Good harvest in horticulture in 2014
The total production of vegetables in Norway in 2014 is estimated at 189 400 tonnes; an increase of 10 per cent from 2013.

The production of field grown vegetables represented 158 400 tonnes of the total production, and greenhouse vegetables 31 000 tonnes.
The total production of fruit in 2014 is estimated at 15 800 tonnes; an increase of 3 600 tonnes from 2013. Apples represented 13 200 tonnes of the total fruit production, plums 1 400 tonnes and pears 300 tonnes. Cherries and sweet cherries made up 900 tonnes of the fruit production.
The total production of garden berries in 2014 is estimated at 11 500 tonnes; an increase of 2 500 tonnes from the year before. Strawberries amounted to 8 300 tonnes of the total production of garden berries, while raspberries amounted to 2 500 tonnes.
