Economic Survey 3-2018

The Norwegian economy has been in a moderate cyclical upturn for about a year and a half. According to preliminary seasonally adjusted figures from the quarterly national accounts (QNA), average quarterly Mainland GDP growth has been 0.6 per cent for the last seven quarters.

Economic boom in sight

The Norwegian economy has been in a moderate upturn for about a year and a half. The upturn is being further driven by increased investments in the petroleum industry and weak positive international impetus.
